Executive CoachingWe provide one-on-one executive coaching and group coaching to professionals and those who support them.
Our approach to coaching is evidence-based and involves a mixture of cognitive-behavioural, developmental, personality theory, systems theory and positive psychology approaches. We take a holistic approach, emphasising the importance of physical, emotional, cognitive and existential balance in people’s lives for achieving optimal outcomes. We also view our client’s situation in the context of their broader professional, work and family systems. We manage our dual responsibilities to our clients and their sponsors in a clear, transparent and professional manner. Maintaining confidentiality is of paramount importance to us as is avoiding any real or perceived conflicts of interest. We engage in regular psychological supervision and ongoing professional development and abide by the International Coach Federation Code of Ethics. We are typically retained to work with high-potential professionals, professionals experiencing performance or relational difficulties and professionals and/or their teams who are generally seeking to improve their productivity and performance. Wellbeing + ResilienceGlenn Dennett runs the Stress Management module of the NSW College of Law’s Legal Practice Management Course and is often asked to speak to various professional bodies on stress management and wellbeing issues.
He also facilitates regular group supervision sessions for lawyers whose clients who are particularly stressed, have mental health issues or are traumatised. Glenn has a suite of lunch time, 90 minute and half day workshops on wellbeing and resilience topics written specifically for professionals. He also provides consultancy services to the legal profession on building capacity and compliance with the Tristan Jepson Memorial Foundation Psychological Wellbeing: Best Practice Guidelines for the Legal Profession. |
Leadership DevelopmentWe are experienced in working across a broad range of leadership models and frameworks and understand the theories and research that underpin them.
We draw upon our personal experience and our understanding of the relevant theories to provide tailored leadership development programs for professionals that meet the particular needs and challenges faced by them at each stage of their careers. We believe that leadership for professionals is different to and broader than mainstream leadership approaches. Leadership within in the professions is influenced by the professional ethics and responsibilities that govern the professions, the different settings in which professionals work and the special expectations that people have of those working in the professions. Mental Health First AidGlenn Dennett is a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and regularly facilitates the 2 day Standard Mental Health First Aid and the ½ day Blended E-Learning course, for professionals and the people that work with them.
He also conducts private workshops on managing mental health issues in the workplace and promoting the mental health of people working in high performance work teams. Pro-bono ActivitiesGlenn’s pro-bono activities include facilitating weekly drug and alcohol peer support groups in inner-city Sydney, supporting various community legal centres like the Refugee Advocacy and Casework Service and coaching and mentoring law students.

I manage the dual responsibilities I have with my clients and their sponsors in a clear, transparent and professional manner.

I engage in regular psychological supervision and ongoing professional development. I also abide by the Code of Ethics set down by the Association for Coaching International.

I am also regularly asked to be part of a panel of coaches who are there to support high potential employees participating in in-house leadership programmes.

It is influenced by the different settings in which professionals work and the special expectations that people have of those working in the professions.
Wellbeing and Resilience Programmes
I have been running regular Stress Management and Wellbeing workshops for law students and legal practitioners since 2011.
I also facilitate regular group supervision sessions for lawyers whose clients who are particularly stressed, have mental health issues or are traumatised. These supervision sessions are specifically designed to support lawyers who have a significant vicarious trauma risk because of the nature of the work they are asked to perform.
Over the years, I have developed a suite of lunch time, 90 minute and half day workshops on various wellbeing, resilience and other mental health related topics specifically designed for professionals. A sample of the types of workshops I have been asked to provide can be seen here.
